Leadership

Charlie Wilmerding, President

Charlie Wilmerding is the founder and President of Altus Partners, Inc. Driven by his commitment to eliminate the conflicts of interest that the traditional commission-centric insurance brokerage business model inherently creates, Charlie started Altus Partners Inc. so that clients could benefit from the power of objectivity. Since 1997, the firm has delivered conflict-free property/casualty insurance brokerage and risk management services to individuals, families and corporations throughout the US and around the world.

Prior to starting Altus, Charlie began his career as an underwriter in Chubb's New Haven office before moving to Johnson & Higgins in New York and then Philadelphia. He is currently a director of the Chanticleer Foundation, the Fishers Island Development Corporation (FIDCO), and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. He is the former chairman of the board of trustees of Pomfret School, a former trustee of the Overbrook School for the Blind, the Montgomery School, and Gladwyne Montessori School, and a former director of Rittenhouse Square Indemnity, Ltd (Bermuda).

Charlie earned a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College. He and his wife have three grown children and live in Villanova, Pennsylvania.

Jackie Rosci, CFO

Jackie Rosci began her career with Altus Partners Inc. in 2004 serving first as an Account Executive and then earned the title of Controller a few years later. Today she is the company's CFO with responsibility for overseeing the financial management of Altus. Jackie works closely with the CEO and management team to create and implement the company's key initiatives, translating vision into concrete business actions. She also oversees employees in information technology and administrative roles, as well as managing HR-related matters including benefits, employee satisfaction and compliance.

Jackie graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She lives with her husband and two children in Newtown Square, PA.

Zac Cregar, Esq., General Counsel

As the leader of the Altus claims group, Zac Cregar oversees the company's legal and claims teams, overseeing thousands of domestic and international claims each year. Zac brings critical knowledge to every situation, working with the client service teams to ensure positive results. With the ability to think big picture while simultaneously focusing on details, Zac brings diligent oversight to the claims process, serving as a steadfast advocate and advisor on behalf of Altus Partners Inc.'s clients.

Zac joined Altus Partners Inc. in 2016 after working for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company where he served as outside counsel, auditor & litigation consultant. Prior to Liberty Mutual, Zac was an attorney at Reilly, Janiczek & McDevitt, PC, handling complex civil litigation and investigating insurance fraud.

Zac holds a Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College and juris doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law. Zac is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, where he volunteers on the ACC's Corporate Pro Bono Small Business Legal Clinic. Zac is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He has written numerous articles on fraud, bribery and anti-corruption.

Hank Clement, Managing Director

With more than has 16 years of experience managing a diverse mix of insurance and risk management programs around the world, Hank Clement is a go-to leader for large-scale property and casualty risk management strategies. His demonstrated ability to deconstruct complexity and get to the heart of where risks lie is the reason so many corporate executives turn to Hank when seeking guidance for risk management solutions. Hank works with multi-billion-dollar corporations, professional services firms, foundations and non-profits and is expert in professional liability, management liability and cyber insurance programs, in addition to property and casualty insurance. Hank's diverse global industry knowledge includes financial services, healthcare, higher education, manufacturing and temporary staffing sectors to name a few. Considered an insurance thought leader on a number of topics, he has authored several articles regarding professional liability insurance coverage for financial institutions.

A graduate of the University of Delaware, Hank lives in Berwyn, Pennsylvania with his wife and three children. An active member of the community, a member of youth sports boards and committees, he coached amateur softball teams that competed at the national level.

Micah Knapp, Managing Director

Micah Knapp joined Altus Corporate Risk in 2016 to head up the firm's middle market commercial insurance division. As a leader of Altus' commercial insurance and risk management practice, his responsibilities include designing firm strategy to drive growth, as well as training and supervising a team of skilled brokers and administrators. Micah's most vital role, however, is managing the daily needs of Altus Corporate Risk clients and advocating for their best interests in all negotiations with insurers, claimants and opposing counsel.

Prior to Altus Corporate Risk, Micah analyzed and constructed large-scale, complex insurance programs at The Graham Company. His brokerage work was preceded by a decade in law, most recently as a partner in the insurance coverage litigation practice at Cozen O'Connor. Before joining Cozen, Micah served as a law clerk for the Honorable Edwin M. Kosik, U.S. District Court Judge. He holds bachelor's degrees in Administration of Justice and Spanish from Penn State University and a juris doctor, cum laude, from Temple University School of Law..

Ryan Moore, Managing Director

Ryan Moore leads a team that focuses on large commercial accounts for Altus Corporate Risk. He has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry on the brokerage and corporate risk management sides of the business.

Ryan works with his clients at all levels of their organizations to identify opportunities and address issues related to their corporate insurance programs. He partners with decisions makers at insurers, actuarial firms, third-party claim administrators and other providers to drive solutions for his clients.

He manages the placement of all lines of property and casualty coverage for clients, and advises them on alternative risk finance solutions, contract negotiation, international programs and claims management.

Prior to Altus Corporate Risk, Ryan was the Senior Risk Manager at Toll Brothers, a Fortune 500 company. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Risk Management and Insurance from Temple University and his Master of Business Administration from Villanova University.
